Pixel Press is a technology company focused on building engaging gaming experiences for both sides of the brain: the analytical left side and the creative right side. Our products are fun for all ages, and flexible enough for many applications. In August 2018 Pixel Press released Bloxels EDU, its first product experience built entirely for creating and sharing games in the elementary school classroom. Bloxels EDU is the most intuitive platform for creating video games in the classroom. When students build games, they become the writers, artists, designers, and developers of their own interactive stories. We believe that through the engaging experience of making games, students can develop self-actualized skills in areas including critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. Our tools emphasize creativity and storytelling experience over learning to write code, and to that end our platform can be used by teachers as an alternative to book reports, powerpoint presentations, and dioramas.
